Marine II Belt

Another beautiful stand-out from these British artisans. Crafted from rich navy blue bridle leather that’s been traditionally tanned, dyed and finished, and professional-strength navy web fabric, this belt is unlike any other.

  • 100% vegetable tanned bridle leather* – there’s nothing better
  • Marine-grade cotton webbing – strong and flexible
  • Marine-grade 316** stainless steel buckle – hefty and indestructible
  • Bench made in England

*Authentic vegetable tanned bridle leather from full-grain hide is the highest grade of leather extant. North Sea Clothing sources their leather from the same tannery that supplies luxury shoemaker John Lobb.

**SAE 316 is the highest technical-level grade of stainless steel, prized for its superior resistance to pitting and corrosion and typically used in surgical instruments.

Bench & Loom was one of the very first in America to carry North Sea Clothing. We’re proud to be pioneers in supporting pioneers.

Size & Fit

  • Width: 1.5" (3.8 cm)
  • For belts, order 1-2 sizes larger than your waist. Example, if you are a size 32 order a 34.

Company Background

North Sea Clothing in Great Britain makes its products the old-fashioned way: by hand. Its famous woolens are created with wool that's not processed prior to spinning. This leaves the fibers intact with their natural lanolin properties, making the garment essentially waterproof and windproof. This - together with exceptional workmanship - ensures a product that can stand up to any weather for a lifetime.
